Trying to Conceive

5 important steps in preparing for pregnancy

The decision to get pregnant is like… no close enough comparison can be thought of, so let’s assume there is no analogue! You have to feel the moment and trust it completely.

Want to throw yourself headlong into the adventure called “How to become a supermom”?

Here’s our easy and effective guide to preparing for pregnancy – grab a cup of coffee (wine is fine too, but let’s mentally prepare ourselves to part with the spirits) and get comfortable!

Understanding the state of health

The first step is like going to the gym after the holidays – not the most fun, but a must. Consulting a doctor is like meeting the nutritionist after Christmas – it opens your eyes and you are confronted with reality. Whatever it is.

You will learn a lot about your reproductive health this way. Yes, lovely, it’s time to find out what’s going on in your wonderful body. Tests and exams will give you all the answers you need to make sure you are ready for your future baby.

Improve nutrition

It’s time to leave the chocolate cake behind and switch to herbivore mode… Just kidding, let’s not overdo it! We’re not going to turn into salad munching cows all day, but it’s time for a little change. How about a plan that includes more veggies and less pizza?

Start slowly introducing more leafy greens into your menu. They are super healthy. Kind of like those fashion accessories you don’t want to wear at first, but then realize make you look dazzling.

You don’t have to give up everything delicious. You can make your favorite cheesecakes with whole wheat dough. It’s like wearing an evening dress with sneakers – unexpected, but scary comfortable and stylish.

And what about sweet temptations? Instead of chocolate cake every day, try fruit salad or homemade oatmeal cookies. You can even make smoothie bowls that look so good, you’ll soon be posting them on Instagram.

Physical activity

Fitness? Yoga? Dancing? Say yes. Good shape is a combination of looking sexy + excellent health. In this case, the dream result requires total commitment. You need to prepare a cozy and welcoming home for the future little guest.

The exercises are like putting highlighter on your face – a little effort for a dazzling glow. Come on, it’s time to move those flanks and dazzle the world. And secretly rub the noses of those who keep telling you that you can’t. Beat a shot of laziness and put down the wedge and bustier.

Intake of necessary nutritional supplements

They’re like your favorite cocktail, but without the hangover the next morning. What could be better! Taking the necessary supplements is a must. Think of it as a secret super powerful elixir for conception. Folic acid is like a little magic in a pill – it promotes cell growth and prevents neural tube defects. Omega-3 fatty acids are your superhero for the brain – keeping the mind fresh and improving mood. Iron? Because you don’t want to feel like your batteries are drained.

How do you know which supplements you really need? Do the necessary research to find out if you are lacking in something or have more of something else. It’s like checking your shopping list before the big party – you need to make sure you have everything you need.

Emotional preparation

It’s like watching a romantic comedy with girlfriends – there will be tears, laughter and very long conversations.

Get ready for yoga sessions and meditations – calm is key. Imagine relaxing on your yoga mat, listening to relaxing music and trying not to think about whether you forgot to turn off the iron. Phenomenal!

Remember that emotional health is just as important as physical health.

Emotional preparation for pregnancy is not just something to check off the list. It’s a process that will help you feel confident and ready for all the challenges that lie ahead.

Most importantly – be consistent and do everything with the necessary desire and a smile. The best is yet to come, so it’s time to start living the life of your dreams. Good luck!
